Inventory Suite is an edition of nine separate prints. Eight of these prints are silkscreen
drawings of a body with penetrating parts, each of which is associated with a serial number.
The totality of the eight screen-prints walks around the human body, cataloging it sequentially.
The numeric system identifies where, when, why, and to whom those separate pieces or parts
belong. With these drawings, the human body is equated to a warehouse with inventory that
comes and goes. The ninth print is a sheet of floor plans; that are used to create a site-specific
installation at Artist Image Resource, 150 of the floor plans are cut out and folded. The small
assemblages each contain a single bed and a bathroom. Two of the paper rooms are lit by
small lights, suggesting the possibility of an occupant. Eight different rooms house thin
speakers which emit recordings of someone occupying a space of approximately the same
size.
